Sanya Taswala

A womenswear designer specializing in luxury eveningwear and ready-to-wear. My design sensibility draws deeply from my Indian roots, shaped by a rich visual culture of colour and form, refined through my training at Parsons School of Design, where I graduated with a BFA in Fashion Design and a concentration in Business.

My practice sits at the intersection of concept and construction. I am equally invested in the idea that a garment carries as well as the technical precision required to bring it to life. I'm drawn to clean, tailored lines, strategic volume, and a versatile colour palette.

I approach fashion as a portal; to me clothing does more than dress a body, it invites the wearer to step into a bolder, more joyful version of themselves. Each garment is a vehicle for self-expression, designed to transform not just appearance but confidence.

With a grounding in both design and business, I am actively seeking opportunities that will challenge me and foster my growth as a designer and an individual. I bring a sharp eye for detail, a strong ability to adapt, and a genuine eagerness to learn.
